50 shades of white

White always works! In Denmark, the summer usually is kind of rainy, and on those days, I like to dress in bright colours and all white.

I mixed light materials today, to get even more of that vibe into my outfit.

The shoes and socks I almost always wear together. They’re just such a good match, and complete this summer look with a hint of boho hidden in it.

Backwards meets checks

Got some cloth crisis this morning, and figured that I should try to turn my shirt backwards, to add some new life to this overall.

I kind of overused this overall when I first bought it. I just think that it’s kind of a treasure, found in a haystack. Have tryed not to use it that much since.

So today’s look is kind of innovative, but let’s face it, that’s really me.

Suede collaborating with stribes

Mixed up this homemade suede top with one of my favorite peices in my wardrobe. Found the material for the top as a leftover in a textile shop, and simply couldn’t help myself. Love the colour! I have plans making a skirt for the top too, using the rest of the textile.

I bought the trousers last summer, when the shops where full of 70’s related fashion. I really like how they’re still kind of Scandinavia minimalistic, but with the typical flare from the 70’s.

Used the belt to give it a twist, and felt like tieing it in a bow instead of the usual way.

Vintage once again

imageimageimageimageimageimageimage

Got this vintage dress as a gift from a costumer at the salon where I work. She has recognized that I wear vintage remarkable often, and thought that I was the one to give the dress a new life.

The dress has been her grandmothers, and is from the 40’s.

I love how the dress is both casual in fit, but still quite elegant. Mixed it with raw shoes for contrast.

Casual and monochrome

Mixed chunky shoes with a minimalistic shirtly dress today. I love how the shoes are both practical and fashionable.

The weather in Aarhus has been quite grey today, so felt like matching it with this casual monochrome outfit. Feminine, but still, for once, quite underdressed.
