Last time I was shooting with J. Lawrence Photography, we wanted to do something a bit avant-garde. I decided to dress up like a quite gothic ‘wizard’, and to add a makeup, that was a bit artistic.

The gothic theme is actually something, that makes me feel very comfortable. I like the way the clothes moves when I do, how an all black outfit can be very detailed, and the dark lipstick.

Last Saturday, my best friend and I went to a halloween party at a club in Aarhus. She was dressed as Sporty Spice, and I as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.

We had a really fun time out, and the others geusts at the club was dressed so horrified and authentic. Must have been the most scary squad in the whole city.

When I go to a theme party, I don’t do ANYTHING halfway. It must be very accurate and alike the character I dress up as. I bought a blouse that looks like Harley Quinn’s, and wrote the tekst on the chest myself, cut some holes and used blue hair dye to make it look like stains on the stomach. Everything else I actually got in my closet already.

Theese photos are from my last collaboration with J. Lawrence Photography. Even though the weather is getting cooler and quite grey, I really love the colors of this season.

When shooting, I really felt like one of the hippies living in Central Park, in the musical ‘Hair‘. I always imagine that I’m playing a role when shooting. That helps me make picture, that actually has some kind of meaning and tells a story.
